Coffee House Talks is the Money Museum's monthly event series. Our educational talks put money at the heart of the conversation. The aim of these fun, interactive evenings is to make us more aware of our finances, rather than treating them as a taboo. The evenings are always in front of an audience, involving the audience, and take place in the Money Museum's lobby and café.
Our eleventh guest was Attila André Elekes, stamp and banknote designer. His presentation was linked to the temporary exhibition "Postage stamps and banknotes - hand in hand" at the Money Museum. During the discussion, our guest was asked about the relationship between banknotes and stamps, graphic requirements, design principles, special curiosities and stamp rarities.
