The guest of the last Coffee House Talks event was Attila André Elekes, a graphic designer who designs banknotes and stamps. He participated in the realization of the reverse-side designs of the 1,000 and 5,000 forint banknotes, as well as in the design of several hundred postage stamps. He has an amazing professional career; his stamps bring Hungarian history to life. The fantastic atmosphere of the event was inspired by the opening of a temporary exhibition on the relationship between stamps and banknotes entitled “Postage Stamps and Banknotes - Hand in Hand” on the 28th of January in 2025. The exhibition can be visited free of charge and without registration at the Money Museum until the 31st of December in 2025.
