Tourist guiding a little differently, financial knowledge guides
Every year on the 21st of February, International Tourist Guide Day is held to celebrate the professionals who passionately and knowledgeably introduce visitors to the history and interest of a place. At the Money Museum, however, guiding is more than just passing on information - groups are guided through the world of finance by experts in a special role, called: educators.
Educators: More than tour guides
The Money Museum educators not only present the exhibits but actively shape the financial thinking of visitors. They tailor the tours to the different age groups and interests of those who visit, they help people understand how money works alongside the impact of economic decisions and the basics of financial awareness.
So, educators not only tell stories, but they also teach - interactively, experientially and clearly. They play a key role in ensuring that visitors not only receive information, but also become more confident in their everyday lives, equipped with financial knowledge.

Financial guiding in practice
The Money Museum offers a personalised experience for all visitor groups:
- For school groups we host playful, interactive sessions to help students learn the basics of financial awareness from a young age.
- For adult visitors, we offer presentations on deeper economic issues and the workings of the monetary system.
- For professionals and foreign visitors we offer English-language guided tours, focusing on the global aspects of finance.
Celebrating the educators
On the occasion of International Tourist Guide Day, we would like to thank the Money Museum's educators, who are dedicated and skilled in helping visitors on the path of financial awareness, as they inspire and support the discovery of financial knowledge. Their work is essential to make the Money Museum a true knowledge centre, where visitors are not only spectators but also active participants in the learning process. They are the ones who make the first impression on visitors, because they have a personal relationship with them and their presence is crucial to the visitor experience.
