On the 21st of December in 2024, at the Christmas for children in need event organised by the Children's Safety Service, the Money Museum's 'Suitcase Museum - Journey around money' programme was among the many activities presented. The sessions were ‘fully booked’ and achieved great success in the most important house of the country.
The Suitcase Museum programme was launched on the 15th of September in 2023 with the aim of bringing the Money Museum’s financial education sessions to students in both secondary and high schools, focusing on family budgeting, modern money management, the purchasing power of money, the banking system and lending.
The Suitcase Museum, which mainly visits disadvantaged areas, reached 22,268 students in 2024. The outreach does not stop during the summer holidays, since the Museum's activities continue in the Elizabeth campgrounds.
