The screening of the Legend of the Gold Train
The award-winning documentary-feature film, directed by Attila Szász and supported by the Central Bank of Hungary, will be available at the Money Museum from 6 p.m. in the Museum Pedagogy Room.
The film tells the story of the employees of the Central Bank of Hungary who rescued and secured Hungary’s gold reserves during the Second World War on a train which later came to be known as the Gold Train.

We want to inform you that new measures are taking effect regarding our events that require registration.
Suppose the applicant has a valid reservation for any registration-required event of the Hungarian Money Museum and Visitor Center and does not appear on 2 different occasions. In that case, we won't accept his application for the following occasions. So, those who do not appear at our events 2 times will not be able to register in the future.
Cancellation of the reservation is possible no later than 24 hours before the event. In this case, the registration will not be placed in a disregarded status.
